ROME, Italy – Sixteen representatives from nine farmer organizations under the MTCP2 Programme in Asia and the Pacific are in Rome for the Sixth Global Farmers’ Forum on 15-16 February 2016 at the IFAD headquarters.

Represented farmer organizations include TRTC in the Pacific, BKF in Bangladesh, SEWA in India, ANPFa in Nepal, PAKISAMA in the Philippines, CFAP and FNN in Cambodia, and LVC and AFA in Southeast Asia.

They will be sharing their experiences and views on the thematic working groups during the forum such as market access, agroecology and climate change, women and youth, and the FAFO process.
