CFAP organized a workshop last July 24 to share knowledge on the results of a study/research on “uses of water for crops irrigation, household pond, community pond preparation and economic analysis”. The program was conducted by Dutch interns (university of applied science) and Cambodian students (Svay Rieng University), hosted by CFAP.

The workshop also focused on climate smart agriculture, agricultural production improvement, enterprising local produces to market and use of a revolving fund within farmers’ organizations to serve better service to farmer members as well as the sustainability of their farmers’ organizations, as farmers need profits.

The workshop was participated by farmer leaders from the network of the Medium Term Cooperation Program (MTCP2), representatives of Svay Rieng university, and provincial department of agriculture.

The workshop was held at the Cambodian Red Cross Guesthouse in Svay Rieng.
